“When issues come alongside, and there is a possibility…there is a duty if you’re releasing data. This being our third report…you gotta go the place the work is. And you have gotta be there, able to play. Other than that, simply glad to be wherever. Glad to be right here, enjoying tonight, and we’re wanting ahead to it.

“We don’t have to play. We could be home with our families. But the thing is, with a true musician, you do, even if you don’t want to or don’t feel like it some days — 30 seconds onstage, and you’re glad that you’re there. And you’re thankful for it.”

He brought something to the table that no other musician could, and his love and passion for music was unmatched in a world of jaded artists.

“For us Joey was household, and like household we argued and cried, however largely laughed, and cared deeply for each other. His public picture had a severe tone, with an evil exterior, but he had the most important coronary heart, and we had been fortunate to have the ability to see the softer aspect of him. Joey additionally had his demons, and nothing hurts greater than understanding that we did all the things in our energy to assist and could not get via to him. He by no means felt he was higher than anybody and would exit of this option to put all the things, and everybody above his personal wants.

“Our hearts go out to Amanda, to his family, and to the true friends that were checking in on him. And to all our fans and friends who reached out to us in this time of mourning, thank you.

“Considering all the things; shifting on will probably be tough at first, particularly since we had already began writing the brand new album, however we’ll persevere, and can honor his legacy in all the things we do shifting ahead. This subsequent report will probably be devoted to the reminiscence of him, as that is what Joey would have wished.
