DAVE MUSTAINE Calls Out Aggressive Security Guard During MEGADETH Show

Megadeth performed the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on May 6 and needed to cope with what Dave Mustaine deemed to be an aggressive safety guard. Before launching into “She-Wolf,” Mustaine referred to as the guard out for being overly-aggressive about individuals within the crowd moshing, including that he’d ask for the guard to be eliminated if issues did not calm down.

“Hey, mister security dude. You there. Stop interfering with our show. Okay? You don’t need to go up on the fucking barricade and point at people. Everybody’s having fun. Cool it or I’ll ask for you to be taken out of the pit. Do you understand me? Do we have a fucking understanding here? Don’t do it again.”

Mustaine then took a beat and added “I’m sorry, you guys. It’s just I don’t want your show to be fucked with by a bunch of fucking people that don’t know why they’re here.”

In a earlier interview revealed in early April, Mustaine stated the band is gearing as much as launch their new report The Sick, The Dying, And The Dead on (thus far) July 8 and is planning to launch a brand new single “Killing Time” to radio “any day now.

“We know that the entire whole factor is scheduled for July 8th. And the hopes are that we keep on schedule with that. And I do know that we have a single that’s gonna be serviced to radio any day now. It’s a music referred to as ‘Killing Time’. Obviously, that is [written about] someone in my previous, however it’s not as apparent because it sounds; it is losing your time, not time to kill issues. And it needed to do with among the conditions that myself and the completely different band guys have gotten themselves into with the band over time. And I’m certain lots of people are gonna relate with that. So that one, it is gonna be despatched to radio, gosh, any day now.”
